A tanegység leírása, tematikája:

Iustinos mártír dialógusa a zsidó Tryphónnal a korai zsidó-keresztény disputák egyik legfontosabb dokumentuma. A jórészt valószínűleg fiktív, ám ettől semmivel sem kevésbé informatív beszélgetés keretét a platóni dialógusok ihlették, a mű nagy része azonban a 2. századi keresztény apologéta szentírásértelmezéseit tartalmazza. Az értelmezések többsége az Ószövetség messiási(nak tekintett) jövendöléseit elemzi, és azt igyekszik kimutatni, hogy ugyenezen szakaszok zsidó értelmezése helytelen. Ennek során a szerző utal olyan zsidó értelmezésekre is, amelyek vagy amelyekhez hasonlók később a rabbinikus irodalomban bukkannak fel. A hallgatók két irányból közelíthetik meg a szöveget és a témát, és az év végi értékelés is ennek megfelelően történik: a görögül tudók elsősorban a szöveg fordítása révén, a többiek pedig a fordítás és a szakirodalom alapján tájékozódva vehetnek részt a vitában.

 

Az értékelés szempontjai:

- órai munka (az óralátogtás rendszeressége, az otthoni felkészülés alapossága, az órákon való aktív részvétel) (60%)

- félév végi szóbeli beszámoló az olvasott forrásszövegből / szemináriumi dolgozat az órákon érintett témák valamelyikéből (40%).
